ABOUT US

Named Executive Director of Ocmulgee CASA in 2022, Elaine has worked for the organization since 2002. She covers Baldwin, Green, and Morgan counties and was also previously a CASA volunteer. Before working with CASA, she attended Western Carolina University and had an entrepreneur embroidery business. She and her husband have two children and three grandchildren.

Taylor Lord is a volunteer supervisor with Ocmulgee CASA that covers Baldwin, Hancock, and Wilkinson counties. Taylor has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Georgia Military College. She is originally from Gainesville, Florida, but now resides in Milledgeville with her three children. Taylor is extremely passionate about the CASA mission, supporting amazing volunteers, and advocating for children in foster care. 

Suzanne Mathis is the Volunteer Supervisor who covers Jasper, Jones and Putnam counties. She was previously a CASA volunteer and has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Auburn University.  Suzanne and her husband live in Milledgeville and have four children and five grandchildren.

Rachel is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where she received a degree in Early Childhood Education. She spent the first 10 years of her career working as an elementary teacher. Rachel later transitioned to higher education where she worked for Georgia Military College and Belmont University. She was sworn in as a CASA volunteer in 2016 and over the years has seen the significant impact a CASA can make in a child’s life.
